Milk banking in Australia was reviewed by the Department of Health in 2007, recognising the importance of sharing milk for the babies and parents involved. No action was taken as a result, however, there has been a growing demand for the service. Australians have taken matters into their own hands by sourcing milk via social networking sites like Facebook. Tawar Razaghi reports.
